About IAIMIAIM's Flower Structure
We hope that you can feel how we try to represent it as an alive structure. As you see, babies, children and families are in the centre, as well as caregivers, because we all know that some babies and children can not receive the special art of massage from their parents, and that some caregivers will be the people bringing all the benefits to these children. In this alive structure, all petals are as important as the others. We are trying to move away from a hierarchical type of structure, and to work "in circle", where all sections have their specific and equally important role. As you can also notice, everything in the "flower" is in contact with everything else. The beauty of the whole depends on each part being related to the other, and serving the centre. Please try to always remember this: your own individual contribution to the work of infant massage creates the beauty of the whole, the beauty of a world of hope for babies, children, parents and caregivers that are at the base of every society. The individual elements (petals) that make up the flower structure are explained elsewhere on this website. Click on the petals in the structure image above for more information about each. |
