IAIM Instructors are Certified as Infant Massage Instructors and members of an IAIM Chapter. Being a member of a Chapter assures that the Certified Instructor keeps aligned with the IAIM program, benefiting from continuing education provided by IAIM International and the IAIM Chapters.
Every year, more than 3,000 IAIM instructors from different professional backgrounds are trained worldwide. Some of the backgrounds of our instructors include:

    – Neonatal intensive care units

    – Special Needs Centres

    – Drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres

    – Centres for young parents

    – Mental health and psychiatric services

    – Hospices

    – Postpartum care centres

“I believe that every parent, regardless of personal philosophy, and every infant, regardless of birth history or disposition, should have the opportunity to experience the lifelong benefits that come from early bonds that are loving, healthy, and secure.”

Chapters

An IAIM Chapter constitutes a legal entity officially established and duly registered within a specific country, functioning as a non-profit organization.

All Chapters follow the Policies and Procedures of IAIM International. Chapters represent the IAIM program within the local culture and language assuring that the IAIM program is the same in the country as it is worldwide.

Each Chapter is represented by a designated Chapter Representative, who is typically elected by the members constituting that Chapter.

Chapter Representatives actively participate in all General Assembly meetings, contributing to the decision-making process of IAIM and serving as the voice of their Chapter.

IAIM encourages all Certified Instructors to be a member of at least one Chapter within the same area or language.
