Collaborations
The IAIM International Board is pleased to announce an exciting new initiative for IAIM: the launch of our first-ever pilot collaboration with Wellbeing International.
For many years, IAIM has remained dedicated to its Mission of promoting nurturing touch and communication through infant massage, supporting parents and caregivers in developing loving, respectful relationships with their babies. As the needs of families and organizations continue to evolve, the IAIM International Board believes it is important to explore innovative opportunities that strengthen IAIM’s sustainability while remaining true to our Mission, Vision, and Values. This pilot collaboration marks a significant milestone in IAIM’s history. It is the first time IAIM has entered into a structured collaboration with an external organization whose philosophy closely aligns with our own.
Through this initiative, the IAIM International Board aims to explore whether carefully selected collaborations can help expand our collective impact, reach more families, and create additional income streams that contribute to the long-term sustainability of IAIM and its work around the world.
Wellbeing International’s programme shares a philosophy of caring for mothers, babies, and families that is closely aligned with the values of IAIM. Their approach complements our commitment to nurturing relationships and respectful parenting.
Wellbeing For Mothers & Babies Training
This unique, CPD-accredited training equips qualified Infant Massage Instructors and Baby Yoga Instructors to support the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of mothers and babies. It strengthens bonding through combining touch with storytelling and develops instructors’ facilitation skills, including creating safe spaces, leading discussions and using breathing, movement and simple back massage techniques for mothers.
Created by experienced IAIM Trainer Kate Pigeon-Owen, the training qualifies instructors to offer a five-week course for mothers and babies aged three months to one year. Its vision is for mothers to feel loved, celebrated and supported while nurturing their own and their baby’s holistic wellbeing.
NOTE: IAIM International will receive a commission for each participant who signs up for the training using this link.
