Kevin Nugent, Ph.D.
Developmental Psychologist
Kevin Nugent, Ph.D. is a leading developmental psychologist and expert in newborn behavior and early parent–infant relationships. He is the Founder and Director Emeritus of the Brazelton Institute at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Emeritus Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
He co-authored the Neonatal Behavioral Assessment Scale (NBAS) and developed the Newborn Behavioral Observations (NBO) system, both used worldwide to support infant development and caregiver understanding.
Dr. Sue Carter
Professor of Psychology & Scientist
Dr. Sue Carter is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Virginia and a Distinguished University Scientist at Indiana University, Bloomington. She is the former Executive Director of the Kinsey Institute and a Rudy Professor Emerita of Biology.
She is internationally known for discovering the role of oxytocin in social bonding, monogamy, birth, lactation, and human sociality.
